一位是主考官，又名提问考官即interlocutor，主要负责向考生提问。副考官又名评分考官即assessor，全程沉默、观察、记录。两位考官都会评分。当考生人数为奇数时，最后一组考生为3人共同参加考试。

考试涉及题材：服装、日常生活、教育、娱乐传媒、环境、饮食、健康、医疗和锻炼、习惯和休闲、房屋、语言、人、个人感受、经历和观念、身份介绍、地点和建筑、人际关系、服务、购物、社交、运动、自然世界、交通、旅行和假期、天气。

考试通常分为4个部分

试题形式：考官依次向两位考生分别提问，考生直接回答考官问题，不互相交流。

提问内容：考生个人信息、日常生活、好恶等。

命题目标：考察考生在日常生活场景下即兴参与对话的能力，相当于一个破冰的warm-up，帮助学生放松，进入考试状态。

考试时长：2分钟

答题要点：仔细听问题，给出相关回答，不要蹦单个单词，尽量给出理由、例子，扩展一两句话，但也不要持续说下去。

新的要求：相较于阅读卷、写作卷和听力卷，新版B1 Preliminary（PET）测评口语卷从题型和互动类型来看变动不是非常大，但从具体的任务要求表述如第三和第四部分，可以发现新版口语卷更加强调对交际能力和表达能力的考查，需要考生能够自信大胆地运用英语表达自己的观点态度，能够在与考生搭档、与考官的交谈中自觉使用交际策略进行沟通。口语卷问题没有标准的参考答案，开放性更强。

下面我们一起来看一下各部分的考试内容~

Part1(2-3分钟): 考官与考生分别交谈。

此部分分为：基本问候环节，常规问题。

比如：phase1&phase2

• Where do you come from?
• -- I am a local and I have been living here since I was born.

• E.g. I like to spend time with my friends. Sometimes we go to the cinema, but usually they come to my house because it is near our school.
• Tell me more about your family / school / English teacher. (At least 3 sentences)
• -- There are…members in my famliy. They are … My mother is … who works in… and my father is… who works in…
• Do you like watching TV? What is your favorite TV programme?
• -- Yes, I do. I enjoy…,but my favorite…,because…

E.g. Yes, I do. I enjoy watching so many programmes as TV-series, cartoon, and wildlife documentary, but my favorite is wildlife documentary, because I love animals, and with it, I can learn a lot about the nature and amusing stories about animals.

Part 2(2-3分钟):考生个人描述图片。

试题形式：考官依次给每位考生发放一张彩色图片。图片为日常生活场景，与考生年龄相关。考生针对图片进行大约1分钟的描述， 时间超过考官会打断，没关系。如时间不到1分钟，考官会示意继续说，这时候不说话会扣分。然后归还图片。

回答技巧：

先说topic sentence：This picture tells some information about……

尽可能多地谈论这张照片——在哪里，发生了什么，东西都在哪儿，天气怎么样，是一天中的什么时候。照片中人的表情，动作，感受等等。你对照片的判断和猜想。

Where/When/What/Who/How 从这几个角度来说。

（描述方位可以用：on the left/right; behind, near, next to, between, above, below, in the corner…）

天气：It’s：sunny, raining, windy, snowy, freezing cold, foggy, cloudy, warm, hot…）

用些形容词和副词。最后总结：This is a very nice picture.

Part 3(2-3分钟):考生与考生进行场景讨论。

试题形式：考官给出设定的情景以及图片，两位考生需要根据题目设定和图片的提示进行讨论。图片展示的是一个想象的情景。两位考生花2-3分钟讨论建议、方案，协商达成一致。讨论过程中，要互相引导。当讨论卡住时，考官会引导，但不会参与讨论内容。本题考查学生运用适当的语言进行交际的能力。

考察考生能否使用恰当的语言和互动策略完成沟通，考官不关心考生的具体内容和想法。说白了就是看考生会不会聊天，聊什么不重要。

回答技巧

• 每个图片都需要讨论到，而不是急于做出结论。
• 考生根据设定的情景，结合图片给出自己的观点，或者向对方提问。
• 两位考生讨论的过程中，可以使用不同的交际用语，回复对方的观点，使讨论顺利进行。

策略：

- 讨论图片中的所有东西

. 要和partner热切地讨论，围绕图片上的全部视觉信息进行互动，及时表达肯定或否定，不要急着完成或结束，尽量展示自己的口语能力。

- 最后你们要决定哪个或哪些东西是最好的选择。要达成一致，否则会扣分。

- 说出每一个东西为什么是good or bad，要提供理由。

- 不要太快决定哪一个是最好的，因为你们需要讨论大约3分钟。

- 向你的搭档提问; 不要太着急打断搭档，除非有必要。

- 看着你的搭档，突出自己但也不要自己一直说，注意两人的配合。

Part 4(2-3分钟):考官追问主题会话，考生逐一回答。

试题形式：考官根据Part 3的话题深入提问，本题考查考生全面的语言能力。考生单独作答或互相讨论回答问题，问题涉及考生的个人好恶、习惯和观点。

命题目标：考察考生的综合交流能力。

考试时长：3分钟

答题要点：仔细听问题，给出相关回答，多谈个人经历、好恶和观点并做出解释，回答的内容没有正确、错误一说，考官不关心你的思想是否政治正确，只关心语言本身。

例：主题A school trip问题：

• -What do you need to take when you go on a trip?
