一、完型填空里的词汇
1.furthermore:此外，而且，再者，一般用于在前文论述的基础上，增加一个新的论点。如:The house isnt big enough for us,and furthermore,its too far from the town.这个房子对于我们来说不够大，而且它离城镇太远。
2.indeed:常见用法表强调，如:It is indeed a remarkable achievement.这的确是非凡的成就。但indeed还有一种用法是:在正式英语中，表示对前面陈述部分的肯定和强调，意为其实，实际上，如:I dont mind at all.Indeed, I would be delighted to help.我根本不介意。其实，我倒是很乐意帮忙。
3.stand:常用在否定中，与cant 搭配，表示(强调不喜欢)容忍，忍受，如:I cant stand his brother. 他弟弟让我受不了。是及物动词后接宾语。
4.cope:是不及物动词，可不带宾语，如:I got to the stage where I cant cope any more.到了这个地步，我已经无法应付了。

11.keep(the minimum wage)保持最低工资
12.hardly只能与any和anyone搭配不能与someone，some，everyone 搭配，如：Hardly anyone has bothered to reply.(几乎没人动嘴回应）否定词not 常与不定代词all，both，everyone，everything搭配，表示部分否定。not everyone agree on 表示不是每个人都同意
13.generally,almost表示肯定含义
14.cover接数字时，表示行走一段距离，占一片面积，如：cover thirty miles/an area of some 1140 square kilometers (走了三十英里/占地面积约1140平方公里）
15.change 接from ...to...时表示从A变到B强调两者之间的变动，不强调范围，如：The lights changed from red to green.
16.differ强调不同和from搭配时接的是不同的对象，如：French differs from English.

30.stroll一般做不及物动词，接副词或介词或介词，如：stroll along the beach在海滩漫步
