英语中表示地点的副词

Adverbs of Place

表示地点的副词用于定义事情发生的方位或地点，即表示在哪里，因此做状语。一般的副词以ly结尾，但地点和方位副词不是，如： above, down, everywhere, inside, forwards, out, uphill等.

以-where 所组成的单词为例：

I can’t find it anywhere.

I know I put it somewhere.

I have to look elsewhere.

I have英语 looked everywhere.

1. 地点副词在句子的位置

表示地点的副词一般置于句尾。

例如： The man walked backwards.

She didn’t walk away.

She didn’t find the book用 there.

Put the cake there.

After a long day at 用work, we headed homewards.

Please bring that book here.

My grandfather’s h地址ouse is nearby.

如果既有时间又有地点状语，时间要放在后面。

• I’m moving abroad soon.
• I’m taking the dog out this morning.

Here和there开头，句子要倒装。

• Here comes the train!

Ahead

Along
The bra说ke was off so the car just rolled along.
Run along! It’s time for bed.

Anywhere (American English: Anyplace)
I can’t find that book anywhere.
Come in! You can sit anywhere you like!

Around, Round
Will you children please stop running around?!
If you’re free later, you’re welcome to come round.

Away
Joe, it’s time to put all the toys away.
Do you remember the date she went away (on holiday)?

Back
You ought to get back before its dark.

Backwards
Cats don’t usually walk backwards!

Behind

Far

Forward(s)

He ran forwards to catch the ball.

Homewards, Home
They drove homewards through the forest.
We came home after the party.

In

Indoors
Has Sally gone indoors? Yes, because it’s started raining.

Inside
It’s getting cold now. I think we should go inside.

Left, Right

Nearby
